This anonymous engraving, “Hondenrassen”, is part of a larger series titled *Nouveau Livre d'Animaux*. Created sometime between 1750 and 1820, the print features six different dog breeds, with each breed labeled in French, showcasing the diverse canine world of the era. The artwork is a fine example of a print focused on the natural world and the variety of dog breeds popular in 18th-century Europe. The print is currently in the collection of the Rijksmuseum.
