It makes me think about the challenges faced in any journey, perhaps suggesting an inner psychological journey as much as a physical one. Are the other ships also symbolic? Curator: Precisely! The other ships, fading into the background, could symbolize past voyages, lingering memories, or even the vastness of historical events connected to naval power and exploration. Consider the cultural memory associated with seafaring empires of that era and how the ships may reference this cultural weight. What do you think the stormy sky might be alluding to? Editor: The stormy sky…perhaps it's foreshadowing future conflicts or obstacles, a sense of unease regarding the future, but, importantly, rendered through an image.
