This silver coin, known as a "Hollandse dubbele stuiver," was minted in 1788 by the Province of Holland and is now housed in the Rijksmuseum. The obverse features the coat of arms of Holland, a crowned lion, while the reverse displays the inscription "HOL. LAN. D.A. 1788," representing the Dutch Republic. This small but significant artifact offers a glimpse into the history of Dutch currency and the art of coin design during the late 18th century.
