'Woman with cap', painted by Pablo Picasso, well, it looks like it came into being through a series of intuitive gestures, maybe shifting and emerging through trial and error. I can almost feel the weight of the brush in Picasso’s hand, loaded with a warm, earthy palette. What was he thinking when he made it? The paint looks pretty thin, laid down in strokes that define the form, but also kind of dissolve it. That stroke along the jawline – it’s so decisive, yet it leaves so much unsaid. It's almost like he is looking at Cézanne, but also doing his own thing, obviously. You know, artists are always in conversation, challenging and inspiring each other across time. It’s all about embracing ambiguity, allowing for multiple readings. Nothing is fixed, everything is open.
