This small, decorative plate, titled "Schotel, beschilderd met bloemen en laddermotief," is a beautiful example of Dutch Delftware. Made around 1775-1778 by the Loosdrecht workshop, the plate features delicate floral motifs in a colorful palette of purples, oranges, and greens. The center of the plate displays a bouquet of flowers, while a border of interweaving green and gold lines and scrolls adds a touch of elegance. The piece, currently housed in the Rijksmuseum, showcases the skill and artistry of Dutch ceramic production in the 18th century.
