Leonardo da Vinci's "Equestrian Statue" is a bronze sculpture depicting a rider on a rearing horse, a popular theme in Renaissance art. Completed in 1519, shortly before da Vinci's death, the statue was originally intended as a monument to Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan. The impressive scale and dynamic pose of the horse, along with the rider's confident posture, showcases da Vinci's masterful understanding of anatomy and movement. The statue is currently housed at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest.
