This lithograph by Franciscus Bernardus Waanders, created between 1833 and 1863, depicts Cornelis Tromp, a Dutch admiral. The portrait is framed by a wreath and features a coat of arms in the bottom center. The detailed rendering of Tromp's clothing and the use of shading in the lithograph give the image a realistic quality. This work is currently housed in the Rijksmuseum, a renowned museum of Dutch art and history.
