Wijnkoelers met dolfijnen en meerminnen 1759 - 1800

Claude Dominique Vinsac's "Wijnkoelers met dolfijnen en meerminnen" from 1759-1800 depicts two decorative wine coolers. The left cooler features a scene of a shepherdess tending to her sheep, while the right cooler is adorned with mermaids holding up the vessel. Both designs include a stylized, ornate frame with floral motifs, referencing classical and Neoclassical influences. The engraving, currently housed in the Rijksmuseum, is a testament to Vinsac's intricate detail and interest in the decorative arts of his time.
