"Gående bonde set fra ryggen" ("Walking Peasant Seen From Behind") is a pen and brown ink drawing on blue paper by Dutch artist Andries Both. Created between 1627 and 1648, it depicts a peasant in a wide-brimmed hat, carrying a basket and staff. The drawing is characterized by the artist's keen observation of detail and the confident use of line. The simple composition and realistic portrayal of a peasant's attire and posture reveal Both's interest in depicting everyday life. The drawing is currently housed at SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst in Denmark.
