Corners of my mind 

Fernanda Suarez painted "Corners of my Mind" in the 20th century. The artwork presents us with a pale figure, emerging from, or perhaps sinking into, a misty blue void, drawing you into a space where identity and emotion blur. Note the dark smudges around her eyes and throat, which tell a story of unseen struggles and inner turmoil. What does it mean to portray vulnerability in such an exposed, yet guarded way?
