Bowl 12th-13th century

This 12th-13th century ceramic bowl, made by an anonymous artist, features intricate floral and geometric designs. The bowl's surface is decorated with brown and blue pigments and a white slip. The artist used a technique called "lusterware" to create the shimmering effect on the surface. This bowl is currently located at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
