This is Gyula Kosice’s, "Perforaciones con reflexion," and it looks to me to be made out of metal and glass. This piece, with its industrial materials, is a real departure point for thought. The polished sphere, held within the perforated shell, creates an interplay of light and shadow. It’s like the artist is conducting an experiment with form, seeing what happens when you put these materials together. Look at the way the holes in the metal let light through, casting spots on the blue glass. It’s so simple, yet so effective. There's a sense of depth and complexity that really draws me in. Kosice reminds me a little of artists like Lygia Clark, who also explored the boundaries between art and science. Both invite us to question the world around us. And maybe that's the point, not to give us answers, but to get us thinking.
