"Avond en nacht" (Evening and Night) is a pair of engravings by the Swedish artist Johann Esaias Nilson, dating from 1766-1788. The print depicts two scenes: “Le Soir” (Evening), portraying figures in a wooded landscape, and “La Nuit” (Night) with a pair of figures in a shadowy setting.
