"Den jomfru er i kloster sat" (The maiden has been put in the monastery) is a satirical etching by Danish artist Axel Helsted (1847-1907). The work, dated 1883, depicts a scene of knights attempting to break into a monastery to rescue a maiden, with humorous and exaggerated figures and text. Helsted was a prominent Danish caricaturist known for his social commentary through art. This work is housed in the SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst.
