Wapenschild geflankeerd door eenhoorn en stier 1683 - 1783

This 17th-century engraving by an anonymous artist, depicting a heraldic shield flanked by a unicorn and a bull, is a fine example of coat-of-arms illustration. The shield, crowned with a royal crest, is adorned with quarterings, each bearing a different charge. The unicorn and bull, traditional symbols of strength and purity, are depicted holding a ribbon with the inscription "Pour Foy Devoir".
