Newhaven 2 1976 - 1977

Editor: This is "Newhaven 2" by John Walker. It's an etching, I believe. The heavy blacks and muted greens really give it a somber, almost oppressive feel. What do you make of it? Curator: It's a fascinating dance between abstraction and representation, isn’t it? The texture feels almost primordial, like glimpsing a city in its infancy.
