"Opstanding van Christus" is an etching by Magdalena van de Passe, created between 1610 and 1638. The artwork depicts the resurrection of Jesus Christ, with the resurrected Christ rising from a tomb while soldiers flee in fear. The scene is set against a dramatic background of clouds and mountains. The etching demonstrates van de Passe’s skill in rendering human anatomy and capturing emotion, reflecting the influence of the Baroque style that was popular in the Netherlands at the time. The work is currently on display at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
