Editor: This is a print called "Initial E" by an anonymous artist. The bold lines forming the letter are striking, almost cradling the two figures within. What do you make of this initial? Curator: It's like a tiny stage, isn't it? A vignette captured mid-scene. I see power, perhaps, one figure seemingly bestowing something upon the other. It speaks to a time when even the alphabet held stories, secrets. Does it spark anything for you? Editor: I guess it does feel important somehow, like opening a really old book of something. I wonder what letter comes after "E"! Curator: Exactly! The "E" is just the start of the story. This little glimpse makes me want to know the whole tale. Editor: Me too! Thanks for the insight.
