"Das Skt. Adolf=Diamantt=Riesen=Hohrn, am Flohzohrn, in Indien und, der Hahr=Kamm" is a work by Swiss artist Adolf Wölfli (1864-1930) from 1917. It is an example of Art Brut, a term coined by French art critic Jean Dubuffet to describe art created by those outside of the conventional art world. Wölfli, who was institutionalized for much of his life, produced an extensive body of work filled with fantastical imagery and personal symbolism, like the fantastical creatures and text featured in this drawing. His art, often created with colored pencils, exemplifies the raw, intuitive expression of Art Brut.
