What do you see in this piece? Curator: It feels to me like a whisper from another time. The cherubic figures and the abundance of fruit evoke a sense of earthly delight, perhaps even a sly nod to the pleasures of life. Look at how the central figures are draped. Don't you feel that's more than clothing? What story do you think it is telling? Editor: I hadn’t really thought about it as storytelling. I was caught up in how pretty it is.
