Editor: This is Luis Peñalver's woodcut print, "Night." The deep blacks and whites create a stark, dreamlike atmosphere. The figures seem caught between worlds. What strikes you most about it? Curator: It's a powerful image. The figures almost emerge from the darkness, yes? For me, it evokes a sense of mystery and unease. I wonder, what secrets are they guarding, and what is the significance of the objects on the table? The cat… a familiar, and yet otherworldly emblem. Editor: Secrets, definitely. It's like a stage set, ready for a drama we can only guess at. Curator: Precisely. That's the beauty of art, isn't it? It invites us to project our own stories onto the canvas, or, in this case, the woodcut. So, what's your version of the story?
