This is a wild, untitled piece on paper by JonOne. I love how this thing feels so urgent, like a message in visual code, and the artist’s energy just explodes across the surface. Imagine JonOne with his pen, caught up in the moment, trying to get it all down. I’m so curious about that impulse to cover the space, to fill every corner with these shapes. You can feel his hand moving, twisting, and turning. I get a sense of him wrestling with his own vocabulary, pushing the language of graffiti into something new. It reminds me that painting, like writing, is about finding your own voice, your own way of saying something that only you can say. We’re all talking to each other, borrowing, stealing, and transforming what we see into something uniquely our own.
