Zilveren dragon of kwast met dikke torsades en galon met gele of oranje (?) biezen c. 1825 - 1850

This is a silver sword with a black and gold-trimmed hilt, created sometime between 1825 and 1850 by Peter Knecht, a Dutch artist born in 1798. It is a delicate work of art featuring a strap, designed to be worn across the chest, that is a soft white with a v-shaped opening at the base. The sword itself has a gold-plated grip, ornamented with a braided cord. The craftsmanship of the sword speaks to the time and care put into it by the artist, highlighting the fine details and materials used.
