Cadmium Yellow Medium 

Editor: Here we have "Cadmium Yellow Medium" by The Harshaw Chemical Company. It appears to be a jar of pigment alongside a swatch. It's intensely yellow... almost aggressively so! What do you make of this, beyond its obvious yellowness? Curator: Well, isn't it interesting how a *manufactured* color can become art itself? I see a meditation on the very building blocks of creation. The raw potential held within that jar... it's almost like looking at concentrated sunshine. Does it spark anything for you, beyond the initial jolt of yellow? Editor: I hadn't thought about it that way! It's less about a finished artwork, and more about the *possibility* of one. Thanks!
