"Wapentrofee" is a black and white etching on paper by the French artist Jean Lepautre, dating to around 1657-1670. The etching depicts a complex composition of shields, armor, weapons and cherubs, all intricately woven together in a Baroque style. Lepautre was known for his decorative works, including etchings, and this piece is a testament to his mastery of detail and composition. The piece can currently be found in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
