Decanter with Stopper 18th-19th century

This clear glass decanter with a stopper is a fine example of 18th-19th century glassblowing, the intricate geometric patterns cut into the surface of the glass demonstrate the craftsmanship of the anonymous artist. The decanter is a functional piece of tableware, but its intricate design also makes it a decorative object. It is currently on display at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
