"Het nieuw vermakelijk Ganzenspel / Le nouveau jeu d'Oie," a colorful game board published between 1833 and 1911 by Brepols & Dierckx zoon, is a playful depiction of the popular game "Game of Goose." The board, printed on paper and featuring both Dutch and French text, is made up of a circular path, decorated with arches and columns, and illustrated with geese, playing cards, and a scene of people dining. The game was designed for entertainment and would have been a popular pastime for families. This particular version is now part of the Rijksmuseum's collection.
