This etching by Coenraet Decker, titled “Boslandschap met elegant paar bij vossenjacht” (Woodland Landscape with an Elegant Couple Fox Hunting), depicts a scene of aristocratic leisure. The couple rides through a dense forest, their hunt dogs chasing a fox in the foreground. The detailed composition, with its intricate foliage and varied figures, reflects the Dutch Golden Age style of the 17th century. This small-scale etching, created in 1676, is now housed in the Rijksmuseum.
