Horloge met datumaanduiding in gedreven kast before 1770

This is a small silver pocket watch created by Dutch watchmaker Paulus Bramer before 1770. The watch face is marked with the artist’s name and the inscription “Eendracht maakt macht” (Unity makes strength), a common Dutch proverb. The watch is a fine example of craftsmanship from this era. It is a beautiful, functional piece of art.
