This black and white print by J. Robyn titled 't is Paasch-feest, dat is ligt te merken, / Daar Jannetje de koopvrouw zeit (...)' depicts a scene of people in a street marketplace during Easter. The scene, likely in the Netherlands, features a vendor selling decorative "Palm Paasch" sticks, which are ornate and embellished with feathers and trinkets. These were popular gifts for children during Easter. The print is a charming depiction of a common Dutch Easter tradition during the early 19th century. The artwork, dating from 1806-1830, is currently in the collection of the Rijksmuseum.
