Editor: This is Philip Wilson Steer’s "Yorkshire Moorland," from the Tate Collection. It's a beautifully subdued wash of greens and blues. It feels so atmospheric; what do you think? Curator: You know, it whispers rather than shouts, doesn't it? I see a soul wrestling with the sublime, finding beauty in the moody, windswept landscape. It's as if Steer is asking us, "Can you feel it? This raw, untamed spirit?" Editor: I think I do now. Thanks! Curator: My pleasure. It's like we've had a little ramble across the moors together.
