This artwork consists of a series of M symbols with flourishes on what looks like a piece of paper, created by Marko Pogacnik. Pogacnik was born in Slovenia during World War II. Slovenia's history is one of shifting borders, ethnic diversity, and cultural resilience. Pogacnik’s artistic journey evolved into what he terms "geosophy," an integration of art, healing, and ecology. The repeated M motif could be interpreted as a grounding or a connection to the Earth. The simplicity and the deliberate repetition may function as a meditation on the essential elements that bind us to the Earth and to each other. This piece serves as an invitation to reflect on our place within the larger tapestry of life. It bridges the gap between the personal and the planetary, urging us to consider our role in the ongoing story of our shared world.
