Curator: Well now, "Burying the Dead" by Bernard Baron...It’s like peering into a memory, isn't it? The architecture alone whispers stories. Editor: It does have a striking formality, and the architecture feels so precise. What do you see in this piece? Curator: It's a dance between the grand and the intimate. The light, the shadow, the very act of burial...it's all so theatrically human. Baron asks us, what do we bury, and what do we resurrect? Editor: That's a lovely way to put it. I hadn't considered the idea of resurrection within the act of burial. Curator: Art's greatest trick, isn’t it? Making us see double. Editor: Absolutely! Thanks for sharing that, I will think of that next time I visit it.
