"Beauty," a cast iron horse bank, was produced by the Arcade Manufacturing Company sometime between 1910 and 1932. Made in the early 20th century, it was a popular toy and encouraged children to save their money. The horse is depicted in a realistic pose with its head turned slightly to the side and its tail curled. The word "BEAUTY" is inscribed on the side of the horse, reflecting the common practice of naming toy animals during this time. The toy is now housed in the Minneapolis Institute of Art and is a reminder of the popularity of cast iron toys and their importance in children's lives.
