Maria met kind Possibly 1700 - 1865

"Maria met kind" (Mary with Child) is a black and white engraving by the artist van der Haeghen. The artwork depicts the Virgin Mary seated, holding the Christ Child in her lap. Both figures wear crowns and the image is surrounded by an ornate border featuring an array of acorns and a dove descending from the sky. This piece, likely created between 1700 and 1865, is currently housed in the Rijksmuseum.
