So many bodies suspended in air, waiting. Curator: Precisely. Piroli's sketch is all line and suggestion. He leaves space for the viewer to fill in the heavenly fire and brimstone. Editor: Or perhaps, the gentle embrace of eternity. The trumpets don't sound like warnings, but invitations. Curator: It invites introspection, doesn't it? What judgment are we truly facing in this moment? Editor: I always thought the apocalypse would be louder. But maybe it whispers, like this drawing.
