"Anatra marina minore col ciuffo, Majchua - Anat. F. Rausia minor Maj vista," is a detailed, hand-colored engraving by Saverio Manetti (1723-1784) from the 18th century. The artwork depicts a female Lesser Scaup duck, a type of diving duck, on a stone with a small branch of red berries behind it. This print is a fine example of the illustrative prints that were so popular in the 18th century, and it showcases Manetti's talent for capturing the delicate details of birds in meticulous detail.
