"Anatra marina minore col ciuffo, Majchua - Anat. F. Rausia minor Maj vista," is a detailed, hand-colored engraving by Saverio Manetti (1723-1784) from the 18th century. The artwork depicts a female Lesser Scaup duck, a type of diving duck, on a stone with a small branch of red berries behind it. This print is a fine example of the illustrative prints that were so popular in the 18th century, and it showcases Manetti's talent for capturing the delicate details of birds in meticulous detail. The etching is now part of the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
