Delizy made this small photograph of the Adour River meeting the Atlantic Ocean somewhere around Bayonne. It's like a faded memory, all soft browns and creams, capturing a moment of wild energy. Look at how the water crashes against the lighthouse, almost swallowing it whole. You can practically feel the spray on your face, right? What I like about this photo is its grainy texture, the way the light catches the surface of the water. It makes me think of Turner, the way he captured light and atmosphere. The whole scene feels transient, like a dream. Delizy shows that, in art, sometimes it’s less about what you see and more about how it makes you feel. Just like a good painting, this photograph leaves you with more questions than answers, and that’s a good thing!
