Gyula Kosice’s "Reloj espacial" invites us into a world where time and space converge in a play of light and form. The artwork features a square panel illuminated from behind, creating a luminous field populated with blue and clear bubble-like shapes, arranged in a seemingly random yet visually harmonious composition. Kosice, deeply involved with Kinetic art and the concept of hydrospatialism, uses these elements to challenge our perceptions. The circles of varying sizes suggest a cosmic expanse, with each sphere acting as a miniature planet or star. The black frame provides a stark contrast, grounding the ethereal quality of the illuminated panel and enhancing the sense of a window into another dimension. The semi-random arrangement of the spheres can be interpreted through the lens of structuralism, revealing a deeper order. The subtle variations in size, color, and placement disrupt any static reading, inviting the viewer to engage in a dynamic process of discovery. This work is a formal exploration that transcends mere representation.
