"Vier cartouches" is an etching by German artist Johann Christoph Hafner from 1678-1724. The piece features four different cartouches, or decorative frames, for coats of arms, each with a unique design featuring cherubs, eagles, and other decorative elements. The artwork exemplifies the Baroque style, a period known for its ornate and dramatic designs, and is currently housed in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Hafner's work as a designer of decorative elements was influential in his time.
