Editor: Here we have a copper Follis of Constantine I, Trier. Looking at the verdigris coating, I find myself pondering its journey through time. What story do you think it whispers? Curator: Ah, a coin, a tiny ambassador from antiquity! To me, it speaks of power, of course. But also of belief. Constantine, you see, was a master of propaganda, and these coins were little billboards declaring his authority, his connection to the divine. A small thing carrying an enormous weight. What do you make of that? Editor: I guess it puts into perspective the power of symbols, how something so small can carry so much meaning. Curator: Exactly! And doesn't it make you wonder about the coins in our pockets today? What stories will they tell centuries from now?
