This silver medal, created by Johan George Holtzhey in 1763, commemorates the 25th wedding anniversary of Franciscus Lestevenon and Elisabeth Alewijn. The obverse depicts a tree of life, symbolizing the couple's enduring bond. The inscription on the reverse, written in Latin, celebrates their love and the joy they share. The medal is a beautiful example of 18th-century commemorative art and is currently housed in the Rijksmuseum.
