This small, delicate porcelain cup, known as a "kop," was made in the Netherlands between 1774 and 1784 by the artist Loosdrecht. The cup features a simple, elegant design, with a green lattice pattern around the rim and a bouquet of pink and purple flowers on the front. This type of cup was a common household item during the 18th century, used for drinking coffee, tea, and other beverages. This piece is a fine example of Dutch decorative arts from the period, highlighting the craftsmanship and artistry of porcelain makers in the Netherlands. The cup, measuring just 4.6 centimeters in height and 8 centimeters in diameter, is currently part of the collection at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
