Reflection Introspection 

Sarah Joncas created "Reflection Introspection" using acrylic on board, a far cry from traditional oil on canvas. The smooth surface and controlled application of paint give the work a graphic quality. You can almost feel the meticulous layering required to build up the luminous skin tones, set against the matte opacity of the background.
