Tuinbank in Marotstijl (zitting) c. 1700 - 1750

This 18th-century bench, made of oak and leather, is a fine example of the Marot style, known for its intricate carving and decorative elements. The bench's elaborate design features a scalloped, carved apron adorned with stylized foliage and scrolls. The bench, crafted by an anonymous artist, is a testament to the craftsmanship and artistry of the period and is currently on display at the Rijksmuseum.
