This 17th-century glass bottle, created by an anonymous artist, showcases the craftsmanship of Dutch glassblowing. The bottle's emerald green hue and intricate etched design, including swirling patterns and the inscription "Geswart," make it a visually striking piece of decorative art. The bottle is currently on display at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The text on the body translates as: ‘Keep thyself pure’. Just below the neck is a reference to a Bible passage. On the base Van Heemskerk engraved a longer text, which clarifies the meaning of the inscription on the body.
