Editor: Here we have Richard Artschwager's "Interior." It's undated, but what strikes me is this strange doubling effect. It feels like a memory, fragmented and slightly off. What do you make of it? Curator: Exactly! Artschwager often played with perception. The doubling creates a sense of unease, doesn't it? It's like seeing the same space through slightly different lenses, questioning reality itself. It's as if he's saying, "Is what you see really there?". Editor: So, it's less about the interior itself and more about how we see interiors? Curator: Precisely! The domestic becomes a stage for questioning our own perception. And it's beautiful, isn't it? Editor: It really makes you think. Curator: It does, doesn't it?
