This 18th-century Chinese Jun ware vase is a beautiful example of the classic Jun ware style. It is characterized by its unique, flowing glaze, which is often referred to as "Jun blue" or "celadon." The glaze was applied to the vase and then fired, creating a rich, layered effect. The shape of the vase, with its quatrefoil base, is also typical of Jun ware. This vase is now part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection in New York City.
