"Shichirigahama in Sagami Province" is a woodblock print created by the Japanese artist Hokumyō in the mid-19th century. The print, a "yatsugiriban" or eight-cut print, showcases a picturesque landscape featuring Mount Fuji in the distance, rising above a tranquil bay. The composition is characterized by a distinctive blue and green color palette, with the snowy peak of Mount Fuji contrasting with the lush vegetation in the foreground. The print is an excellent example of the "ukiyo-e" genre, a form of Japanese art that emerged in the 17th century and flourished until the early 20th century.
