This natural horn, or hunting horn, was crafted by Václav Frantisek et Fils Cervény, a Czech maker of hunting horns, sometime between 1876 and 1896. The instrument is made of brass and features a large circular body with a flared bell and a smaller mouthpiece. The horn was likely used for signaling and for playing traditional hunting melodies, adding to the atmosphere of the hunt. Its distinct shape and materials distinguish it as an instrument of both practicality and artistry.
